We're the Glasgow Chapter of the Awesome Foundation. A fun way of giving £500, no-strings-attached mini-grants to cool projects that will make the world - and Glasgow - more Awesome!
We are delighted to announce that this round we are partnering with Blade Foundation, https://bladefoundation.io Together we are offering one £1000 grant to a digital project. As always we are keen to hear from charities, groups or individuals who are based in Glasgow and who have an awesome idea. For this digital specific round we are looking for ideas around how digital tools, platforms and products can meet a social need or challenge. If your idea does not fit for this digital round don’t worry there will be further opportunities to apply – keep an eye on our social media to find out about funding rounds later in the year.
There are four criteria:
- The project must be based locally (Glasgow - with a G postcode).
- You need to have a budget - prove you have a plan for how additional funds will be raised.
- It has to benefit the local community.
- Most of all, it has to be Awesome
And for this specific round we want to hear how your project offers a digital solution. Finalists will be invited to a gift night which you need to be able to attend in person or online.
NEXT DEADLINE: Wednesday 27th July 2022
GIFT NIGHT: Wednesday 17th August 2022
